  • 'Musing'

    Commissioned as a permanent wall relief for the new extension of the 'Oriel Kyffin Williams Gallery' in Anglesey. The artwork is a study of the visitors to the gallery.

  • War Memorial

    The project was a restorative re-carving of the war memorial in Solihull, dating from the 1920s. I returned definition to the weathered Portland limestone. The carvings were so badly weathered that none of the figures on the four panels of the memorial had any recognizable facial features left

    Mussel Shell in granite for a sculpture symposium in Spain.

  • Chesterfield

    Public Seating and Paving Commissioned By Rugby Council

    The commission is a tribute to the many eminent writers educated at Rugby School. The project features a life-size Chesterfield suite comprising two-seater sofa and chair, a Queen Anne footstool, books and a bookpile at seating height.

  • Gone with the Wind

    Developed this commission with the BTEC are students at the Heath Business and Enterprise College, Wolverhampton

  • Patchway of Learning

    The Reception children dealt with the question 'what would I like to become'.
    The children's drawings and clay models were carved into granite slabs to create
    the 'Pathway of learning', leading up to the school entrance.

  • Peace Garden

    Peace Garden, Taunton Road

    his piece commemorates a specific attack in the Second World War.  The sculpture was not only a memorial to the past, but had also to be relevant to the current ethnic community.

  • Ferncumbe School

    Are Project, to develop a sign for the main entrance that represents the school. I worked with each class, Reception up to 6 years.

  • Brandhall School

    Instead of 'just' carving some seating as it was agreed with the school, I carved a "comfy' sofa for the children.

Private Commissions

  • Queen Victoria Chaise Longue

    started life as a 3.6 tonne block of 'Watts Cliff' Sandstone

    before being carved into a luxurious outdoor seat. The piece is full of intricate detailing buttons, fabric folds, a book casually cast aside by its reader and has been further personlised for the client.

  • Coromandel Seating Group

    A 'soft, leathery' seating

    This seating group consists of two seats and one sofa. Carved from granite it has the look and feel of leather and is incredibly comfortable. Each piece is carved from one piece of stone and is combined with brushed stainless steel legs. These classic pieces can be ordered and come with or without armrests as desired.

  • Sandy Lane Lettering

    This lettering in relief was carved from Coral Stone in Barbados. I undertook extensive work in the material for this nine-month project. I pioneered the carving of the local coral stone; the level of complexity and intricacy achieved in this material has never been seen before.

  • Elephants

    These elephants from part of a fireplace sourround and are carved in Coral Stone. Each one is approximately 45cm x 86cm in height.

    Carved in Bandanoon Sandstone. It features characters from "The Wind in the Willows' scenes from 'A Midsummer-Night's Dream'
