• 'Musing'

Material, Slate, Granite, Limestone, Steel. 3,60 x 2,90 metres

Commissioned as a permanent wall relief for the new extension of the
'Oriel Kyffin Williams Gallery’ in Anglesey. The artwork is a study of the visitors
    to the gallery.

  • Chesterfield

Public seating and paving commissioned by Rugby Council

The commission is a tribute to the many eminent writers educated at Rugby School.
The project features a life-size Chesterfield suite comprising two-seater sofa and
chair, a Queen Anne footstool, books and a bookpile at seating height.

  • Stranded

For a sculpture symposium in Spain

I proposed a large-scale mussel shell, slightly opened.
To bring this large uniform shape to life I applied different textures and
surfaces in low relief; this creates the shadows that 'show the light'.

  • War Memorial

The project was a restorative re-carving of the war memorial in Solihull, dating from the 1920s.
I returned definition to the weathered Portland limestone.
The carvings were so badly weathered that none of the figures on the four panels
of the memorial had any recognizable facial features left

Public Commissions

Whether it is a new creation, an addition to an existing feature or restoration of old features, I unleash the potential of the apparent constraints of a project.
